# Payslips (Lohnabrechnung)

> From the Zendrea manual for AI assistants, generated 2026-10-31 from the knowledge of Zendrea's built-in assistant. All topics: https://www.zendrea.ch/llms.txt; all of them in one file: https://www.zendrea.ch/llms-full.txt. Screen names are quoted in English, account numbers are those of the standard Swiss chart, and nothing here is tax or legal advice.

With every salary payment the employee is owed a written statement of the salary and the deductions (OR 323b). The app makes one per salary booking: in the **Salaries** list (Entries → Salaries, German UI "Löhne") each row has a **payslip button** (document icon, after the payment button) that opens one dialog for both actions:
- **Language** (German, French, Italian or English; it starts in the screen language): the PDF and the email are written in it. There is no language setting on the employee; it is picked per payslip.
- **Open PDF**: the payslip of that booking. It shows employer and employee, AHV number, the salary period (the month of the booking date) and payday, then the salary, each deduction with its base and rate (AHV/IV/EO, ALV, the Valais FAK share, NBU, KTG) and the BVG as an amount (the pension fund sets it, so there is no base or rate), the total deductions, the net salary, and the employee's IBAN when recorded. Employer contributions are not shown, as on the usual Swiss payslip. An imported salary, or one booked before the salary details were stored, shows AHV/IV/EO and ALV as one amount without base and rate.
- **Send by email**: to the email address in the employee's record, with subject and message in the chosen language and the PDF attached (no password protection). It needs email set up under Settings → Email and is not available in the demo.
The PDF is made again on every open and every send, so it always shows the booking as it stands. After sending, the row's icon shows a check (the tooltip says when and to whom). If the salary is changed afterwards, the icon turns into a warning and the dialog asks to send the corrected payslip again. Payslips are free. Deleting the salary booking deletes its payslip record. There is no monthly "send all" yet: one payslip per row.
